Thornton Winery 2010 Jazz Series Announced

The line-up for the 2010 Champagne Jazz Series at Thornton Winery has been announced. The series consists of 21 jazz concerts, Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from April through October. Headliners include Dave Koz, The Rippingtons, Fourplay, Richard Elliot, Peter White, Rick Braun, and more.

We left North County about 45 minutes later than I’d hoped for. The rain had been falling all day, and I was starting to get worried we weren’t going to make it to downtown in time. As we rolled into 11th St, the traffic was surprisingly light, so I took the Ash St. exit and headed two blocks toward Symphony Hall. As expected, pretty much all free street parking around the venue was taken up, but a paid parking lot directly adjacent to the building had plenty of spaces, and given my wife was wearing some new, not-yet-broken-in high-heels, I opted to pay for the convenience this time around.
